Jesus Guerrero’s Sister Addresses “Unanswered Questions” About Death

Jesus Guerrero’s family are still seeking answers.
Amid the heartbreak surrounding the hairstylist’s sudden death at the age of 34, his sister Gris Guerrero has shared insight on the questions that still remain as they make plans for a funeral, which Kylie Jenner has offered to pay for.
“[There are] unanswered questions and it may take some time to properly have something for him,” she told Us Weekly Feb. 25. “We are getting some help, but it is a waiting game for everyone to do what they can to get answers.”
Gris explained that the family has been able to confirm Jesus’ final days—which involved a trip to the United Arab Emirates with client Jennifer Lopez, per images shared to social media—but that they still don’t know what led to his passing.
“We have been able to track every one of his steps, but we don’t know what got him sick or what was [the] sickness,” she said. “It all happened suddenly and no one knows why.”
Gris also confirmed her brother was in a United States hospital at the time of his death, noting, “That’s part of why there are so many unanswered questions because nothing they had done was able to prevent this from happening.”
According to Gris, her brother was unwell upon arriving in Dubai, where he was encouraged to seek medical treatment.
“Everyone on his team did everything they could to get him to the doctors because he was not well,” she explained. “They told him he was not going to work, he should see a doctor and rest. And he wanted to come home.”
After seeing a doctor in Dubai, per Gris, Jesus flew home where he again sought medical treatment.
She noted it “was a very long flight and a lot in between and going on in the hospital [in the United States]. That’s part of why we are looking into his health more with what happened.”
But as the family grapple with their grief, they’re grateful for Jesus’ many loved ones who have stepped forward, including Kylie.
“She has told us anything we need,” Gris shared. “Jesus was family to her, and she was family to him. She has kept an open line. Anything we need, any questions we have, she has been there for us.”
She continued of The Kardashians star, “She wants his memory to be honored and wants to do as much as she can so he gets the farewell he deserves.”
